Artist Statement:
My sculptures begin with an unusual encounter.
I was served a dessert in a simple prepackaged Italian glass container.
Since I was in an old pizza place using paper and plastic to serve all else, I got curious. The research I did set my imagination into overdrive. I started playing with ideas.
This led me to three years of transforming clear “dumpster” glass into sculptures. Three made with simple Italian glass dessert containers.
Why? is my inspiration.
